Any import/GST charges when sending branded bags and Centrum vitamin back to Singapore from USA.?
Hi. Please help on the below-mentioned:
I am in USA now and want to send
1. some branded bag( such as Coach and Guess) to my friend.
2. some Centrum Vitamin and Schiff Move-free
Does the receipent need to pay import tax and GST when parcel arrives. If yes, how much parcel declared value or goods’ quantity is the limit before any tax/charges?
How much tax (%) for each item listed above?
Please assist and advise as clear as possible.

From what I understand, the stuff you mention won’t be subjected to GST as long as the total value does not exceed S$400. If required to pay GST, the current rate is 7% of the total value.
